We want you to know that we have NOT quit working! Pete will be in the office every Wednesday from 12:00 until 4:30 and Friday from 8:30 until 12:00 to do pick up and drop off for those who do not want to send slips via email. We are going to try to limit the exchanges by having a drop box located within the office. Please feel free to email or call in, but there will be no face to face meeting at this time. Please remember you can ALWAYS scan and email your tax slips to [email protected] and we LOVE etransfers! We will continue to update you with any changes as things progress. At MDK we care about our clients and our community and we know that now, more than ever, we need to take care of ourselves and others. With this being said, MDK is still continuing business as usual but we want you to know we are here for you. We are able and willing to continue to take your tax slips electronically and can make completing your taxes one less thing to worry about in these uncertain times. Please take care of one another!

A client received a letter from CRA, dated November 4, 2014. CRA was looking for taxes of around $120,000. We said that the amount owed is only around $30,000. It took almost 5 years, but I finally received a call from CRA agreeing with us. It is never a sprint when you deal with CRA, but a marathon.
