The kids are so hard to get pictures of because they want to come right to us (not a terrible thing). You choose a year you want to reserve a foal, then, when we confirm our mares in foal in the year you have chosen you are offered the first right of refusal depending on which number your reservation before we offer the foal to the Public. We always breed more mares than we take reservations for so there would always be a foal to pick from, but do offer a limited of Future Foal Payment Program Contracts per year. Whose the best grulla mare around? Kee is that’s who. This girl has had 8 months off (no fault of her own). Since our first show was canceled last year and COVID caused all my dreams and goals last year to take an unknown hiatus I put all my effort and time into keeping the business going and bills paid. Which meant my personal horses were put in the back burner (with my dreams and goals). Well, I pulled Kee out of the paddock today and did a brief warmup where she went out a...nd offered me a perfect controlled and slow lope, I got on and she felt like she did the last day I rode her the end of May. This filly is amazing. She walked when I asked her to walk, jogged when I asked he to jog, stopped when I asked her to stop, she did perfect turnarounds and backed up straight and softly.
