Hello everyone! In accordance with the government announcement issued on Monday December 21 regarding the Ontario lockdown, the lockdown currently in effect at the Meadowlarke South location in Mississauga is extended to the Meadowlarke North location in Acton, effective Sunday December 26, 2020 until at least Sunday January 24, 2021. ALL lesson programs will be deferred until such time as we are permitted to reopen and we will advise how our programs will be restarted and at... which location. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the office either by email at [email protected] or by phone at 905-821-0419. Please note that during the lockdown we are maintaining a weekday skeleton staff of essential personnel only on reduced hours and the office is closed on weekends. Please be patient as we respond to inquiries as soon as we can. We will continue to communicate with you as we receive more information that impacts our programs. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you all in 2021.

October Fifth Week Barn Closures - The barn will be CLOSED and therefore no lessons running on Thursday October 29 and Friday October 31 due to these days being the fifth Thursday and Friday in the month of October. Please note that this also applies to our 8 week Learn to Ride Program riders, the fifth week has already been taken into account in the end date of your program. Riders purchase four lessons a month so this month the Thursday and Friday fifth weeks are non-lesso...n days and we give the horses a rest. Occasionally we may need to use a fifth week day to make-up for another holiday or barn event that causes a closure in the regular lesson scheduling for that month. Thanksgiving Weekend Pre-scheduled Makeup Lessons - The barn will be OPEN and therefore lessons running on Saturday October 31 (this is not a Fifth Week Day) and Monday November 2. Please note that these are the pre-scheduled makeup dates for the Thenksgiving weekend barn closures on Saturday October 10 and Monday October 12. Regular Monday Lessons in November - Please note that regularly scheduled Monday lessons in November will run on Monday November 9, 16, 23 and 30. Monday November 2 is designated as a makeup lesson for the October Thanksgiving Monday so if you were not registered for lessons in October you do not have a lesson on Monday November 2.. Please keep track of fifth weeks and other scheduled barn closures by referencing the Calendar of Events in the Resources section of our website. Previously Scheduled 2020 Events - We regret to announce that due to Covid 19 concerns, all remaining events previously scheduled on our 2020 Holidays & Schedule Changes (located in the Resources section of our website) are cancelled until further notice. This includes the Halloween Party (Friday October 30), Schooling Competition (Sunday November 1) and the two lesson viewing weeks scheduled in November (November 2-8 and November 24-30). We feel extremely fortunate that we are able to continue with regularly scheduled riding lessons with the ongoing Covid protocols that we have in place. Unfortunately, running events that bring additional groups of participants and spectators into close proximity in the barns and arenas makes physical distancing and sanitization extremely difficult to monitor and manage.

MEADOWLARKE SOUTH (MISSISSAUGA) IN-HOUSE SCHOOLING SHOW NOVEMBER 1CANCELLED Unfortunately due to Covid concerns about managing physical distancing, we have decided to cancel the horse show that was scheduled to run at Meadowlarke South (Mississauga) on Sunday November 1. Since this show would be an indoor show it would bring too many competitors and spectators into close proximity and we want to be responsible partners in the continued health of our community. Our plan is to continue our regular horse show schedule in March of 2021 if there are no continuing significant Covid concerns or restrictions at that time; our new 2021 calendar of Holidays and Schedule Changes will be available on our website in December.

Reminder No lessons on Tuesday September 29th & Wednesday September 30th due to 5th week.
