Meadowlark Speech and Language Services 30.05.2021

WELCOME KAYLEE Kaylee joined the Meadowlark Therapy team in February and is seeing school age kids with speech delays. Kaylee loves working with kids and can trick any kid into having fun while in speech therapy. Here is a little bit about Kaylee! ... I have lived in Swift Current my whole life and grew up with two sisters, with myself being the youngest. I worked as an Early Childhood Educator through high school. After graduation I worked as a speech and language assistant which I discovered a passion for. I took my Speech and Language Assistant program through Medicine Hat college where I graduated in 2020. I currently work as an educational assistant at O.M Irwin school. In my spare time I enjoy spending it outdoors whether that be at the lake, camping with friends, being with my family or taking my new puppy Kuzco for walks. We are so happy to have Kaylee! If you are interested in having your child work with Kaylee for speech sounds delays in after school times, please email [email protected]

We’ve been busy building a collaborative space to better serve the South West community! Our doors are open and we are so excited to operate as two separate businesses in the same location. If you haven’t already, go give Thoosa Therapy a like and a follow. Delina Langridge

My colleague and I have been busy setting up a new space where we can both support families in the SW Saskatchewan Area! So excited to share more soon! Check out her page and give her a follow!

I am back open and following physical distancing practices and procedures as recommended by the Saskatchewan Health Authority. It has been so great to see families in person again. I am offering therapy times in the morning for immunocompromised clients and in the afternoons for additional families seeking services. My next available therapy session is August 10th and I would love to work with you and your family. Call for free consultations or any questions you may have with speech and language development!

Putting a pause on face-to-face therapy right now makes me very sad but with seeing how the situation is unfolding I feel it is a small part I can contribute to the safety of my clients and our community. It is truly a highlight of my week being able to work so independently with families on the goals they have identified for their child or loved one. For now, spend time with your family and check in on friends you haven’t talked to for awhile! Maybe read a book you’ve had on... your list for awhile! Please continue to call with consult questions, especially if you are seeking support with speech and language at home. I am considering doing home programs and teletherapy groups at reduced rates. If this is something that interests you email [email protected] and I can add you to the list! Stay calm, stay kind

Great read if you’ve been considering consulting an SLP regarding your child’s speech and language development!
