licensed and certified! Q - When did you get started into the trades? A- I have been around the trades ever since I was child. My dad used to work at Fahrhaul, and while he was their he continued his education and got his license in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, ext.. so I would often go to work sites with him. then when he retired he dedicated his time to teaching me the trades. I then started my 1st company at 16, which was trade based.... Q - How long have you been in business now? A - with my new company, 2 years. but I had a business before that for 4 years. Q - What was your 1st company? A - I Had a 80 and 60 unit apartment buildings on contract for all maintenance and renovations. As well as the contract for all janitorial, and yard work for the 80 unit building. This company helped to put me though college, to get my construction certificate. Q - What made you decide to go into the trades? A - aside from the fact that I genuinely enjoy the trades, I saw that I could make a difference for the younger generations of women. Not only am I female business owner, but I am also a female in a male dominated industry. For many young women that can be intimating, mostly because they do not see / rarely see women in skilled trades and business roles, and they should see that. But the key is to love what you do, and do love the work. For your free estimate call us at (519) 982-2102 or email [email protected]

Licensed and certified! Let's face it. Walls are not always square or plumb, so the crisp paint like can look like it wandered off or has a wiggle to it. Plus taping can take up alot of time. Which is why, we take the time to learn how to cut in edges free hand. This saves on time and money. Tape will be used though, against the wall. To protect to fresh paint as we re-paint the trim, where the previous person messed up a little. For those small edges, painters tape is a very... handy tool. To book your free estimate call us at (519) 982-2102 or email [email protected] *Yes, their is old paint (darker grey) from the previous people that painted. The trim will be re-painted white to cover that

Licensed and certified! Why use primer before painting? Their are multiple reasons why you would use primer before you paint a space, such as:... - bright or dark colors are hard to cover up. They often bleed through whatever color you out on-top, so they need primer to "wash it" out a bit. - fresh drywall install. You will always want to put a layer of primer on before you paint bare drywall to help the paint stick. You also want to use primer for big patches, or where their is alot of touch up work. (Areas with alot of putty) - tough stains. It happens, some grease gets on the wall, or something else and it just keeps bleeding through? Primer will hide that and prevent it from showing up again down the line - you don't know what type of paint is already in the space. If you put the wrong type of paint on-top of another it causes chemical reactions that lead to peeling, flaking, bubbling, ext.. so a safe way to prevent this is to just put some primer down and than the paint - ext.... Primer is a little costly, but effective material. For your free estimate call us at (519) 982-2102 or email [email protected]

Why would a female open a renovations company?? Seems kinda crazy, right? Well, your not completely wrong lol But to me it just makes sense. Ever since I was a child I was interested in trade work, and helped my dad on work sites. I really got a taste for the work, and found out i really enjoyed it. It was and still is interesting to me how everything goes together.... I, than decided to take carpentry throughout highschool, and start my 1st renovations based company at 16 years old! I also completed the construction course from st. Clair college while maintaining my company.. I ultimately decided to close that in order to start fresh with this company. My goal is to have a female based renovations company, while providing high quality service our services include: - our specialty, bathroom renovations - basement finishing - kitchen renovations - floor installations - drywall installation - painting - ext.. Licensed and certified! So many people use drain cleaners like Drain-o to clean clogs from their drains, toilets, ext... And you should STOP! Most homes now have ABS pipes (that black plastic pipe) in them, and when a drain cleaner is put into the system it can cause chemical reactions like in the picture below. This pipe has to be replaced because the plastic is bubbling from inside out, which means it will burst...... Some of the services we offer are: - bathroom renovations - basement finishing - kitchen renovations - floor installations - drywall installations - ext...
