Tonight we were scheduled to enjoy a joint service of Tenebrae with our friends from White Oak Presbyterian. Although we will miss the ecumenical worship and f...ellowship, we keep Pastor Billy and his congregation in our prayers as we reflect on the journey from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection. **Note - This photo is from 2019! Meadowvale West Church Centre 16.10.2020

March 16, 2020 Meadowvale West Church Centre Closed due to... The COVID-19 Pandemic As we all try to wrap our minds around the past few months when the Coronavirus was first publicized, leading up to current events, that are still changing by the hour, the Meadowvale West Church Centre Board have decided to close the Centre for the foreseeable future. The spread of COVID-19 is a rapidly evolving situation, and one that we are actively monitoring. We are ready to adjust as things progress, and we’ll keep you up to date throughout. The doors will be locked for the next few weeks and only authorized personnel will be allowed access to the building. Anyone who rents the Centre for group meetings, will be unable to do so until we re-open the Centre. The daycare has their own separate entrance and will continue to operate until such time that they are unable to do so. We are actively monitoring the situation by checking the government websites to find out the latest developments. In the meantime, it is prudent to avoid all public gatherings; work from home, if you can; cancel all non-essential travel and practice good hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often, not touching your face and coughing into your sleeve or a Kleenex, which is to be discarded immediately. We all must do our part as a community and globally. We will notify you as soon as the Centre opens its doors to the public. In the meantime, stay safe and stay healthy. Questions? This is a rapidly evolving situation and the risk assessment may change daily. If you have further questions, you can follow updates at Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization and Peel Region http://www.peelregion.ca/coronavirus/. Beverley Downer, President MWCC Board
