I've been quiet these last few days. Guess what we've been doing?

I can't see anything ... where is the world? Don't worry Pit Squeak we are shearing in the next few days. Time to harvest our year's growth. Lots of work coming up.

Our little Emily, she always has a straw in her mouth. lol She misses all our friends that come for tours. We will soon re-open in May when lockdown is lifted. Picture taken by Lisane.

Haven't featured my two ferocious barn cats for a while. Ernie and Freddie (at there best). These pictures were taken by my grand-daughter Lisane. She has an eye for taking good pictures!

Unlikely Friends. Boomer is a 14-year-old Border Collie who is blind and deaf. He has been part of our staff, herding alpacas for the last 13 years. He is now retired. Molly is taking over his job but doesn't have his natural ability. Molly is just great with Boom, Boom (that is Boomer's nickname). She still gets him to play. Yes, he still plays. Molly is gentle with him, always playing at his level. Boom is still the boss of the farm and Molly respects that. Playing aside sometimes they hang together and that is enough.
