It’s either the best time, or the worst time to be launching anything. I feel like I’ve been blasted with ads the last couple weeks for a thousand new studios, creative businesses, and ventures jump-started by COVID. During the last 6-8 months I’ve been building out a more focused approach to what I do through something new @measured_mothered In thinking about and talking with people on what makes some creative and marketing businesses thrive, and others just bounce around..., the common thread is picking a niche - and zooming in on areas of interest where you can really provide value. The thread of interest for me lies in acting as a creative partner to businesses focused on ‘natural’ products and conscious CPG - but also human centred, hospitality based experiences in the spirit of ritual, events, and immersive content that ‘connects the dots’ with these products. I think there’s a ton of work to be done by designers beyond aesthetics. Work that holistically looks at deeper business goals, and the environmental and emotional impact of products on people and planet - both physical and digital. . Good things coming!
