Ok so totally not food related, but I’m gonna post anyways! Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend in the world. This woman saved my life more times then she will ever know. She is the epitome of love and patience, compassion and understanding. Her heart is pure kindness and she doesn’t have a single mean bone in her body. ... She has stood by my side and supported me one crazy idea after another. She gives me a confidence I have never had before while keeping me humble (for the most part). My friends, please join me in celebrating the birthday of a true champion! This amazing man defines what it truly means to be a champion, inside and outside of the ring. I have had the tremendous pleasure of knowing Jean Yves for just shy of 3 years. In that time he has taught me these things... Sometimes saying less is more. He is the strong silent type personified. He speaks quality not quantity, a trait I respect and admire.... Work ethic. If you want to be a champion in any aspect of your life, it’s gonna take a lot of hard work and ambition. Our goals are right there, waiting to be achieved. Don’t hesitate. Go get them. The first time the World Champ said he was impressed by my ambition and drive, well that was an amazing moment for me. Personally I didn’t get a lot of that positive reinforcement growing up, so to start getting from a man of your caliber, means the world to me. Family. JY is a loving father. My fiancé’s hero. I aspire to be the father he has been and raise my kids to be as wonderful as his daughters are today. I could go on and on.
