Prepping supper the other day made me realize how boring my plastic cutting boards are. Then I started thinking, I can't be alone! I decided to start making some custom wood cutting boards. Now to play with wood types and patterns! Feel free to let me know if you want anything specific! I do currently have these four available: 8x12 Oak-Walnut: Oak offers a beautiful grain pattern. The wide open grain really stands out compared to other woods, especially when next to the dark... walnut. 8.5x12 Maple-Walnut-oak: The light Maple offers a gorgeous contrast with the darker Walnut and the Oak sliver stands out beautifully! The density of the Maple makes these boards perfect for bbq season. The tight grain makes cleaning things like meat juice and bbq sauce a breeze! Currently offering these boards for $50 each. Hello friends and good day! My name is Michael Euteneier, owner of ME Builds! I take pride in bringing wood to life in a way that you will treasure. I have a few finished products for sale, but if you have something else in mind, I would love to make it happen for you! I have built everything from desks to chairs, tables, sheds, decks, decorative items, and shelving units, but even if you are looking for something I haven't previously built, I would love to build it for you!... I am always up for a challenge, and in my opinion thinking outside the box more fun! Growing up, my father ran his own home based business. I have always both respected and envied this career path. I on the other hand have worked for the man all of my life, mostly in the automotive world. Although I have enjoyed working in the industry, nothing has ever given me joy like woodworking. I will always enjoy working on my truck but there is something about taking a boring plank of wood and turning it into something something spectacular. Like many of us; I recently lost my job to Covid19. Instead of letting this year bring me down, I decided to try to make the best of it. I'm not one to sit around and do nothing so I started trying to make use of my time by playing in the garage and building things. After realizing that this Covid mess wasn't going away anytime soon, I decided it's time to follow in the old man's footsteps! Time to work for myself and do what I love! I am absolutely terrible at judging spaghetti! Either I barely make enough to fill my plate, or there's enough to feed half the city.
