Unfortunately due to COVID 19 we will not be offering Fall recreation courses. We hope to have recreational classes in January. Competitive Classes will commence Tuesday, September 8th. All competitive members must have their own equipment and be willing to follow Alberta and Alberta Fencing Association rules for COVID 19.
Hudson Ma, Niklas Lehr and Liam Connellan of the AAA Fencing Club attended the Gladiator's Cup this last weekend. All athletes learned a lot and some even came home with some medals!

The AAA Fencing Club sent a small contigent to the Don Laszlo Memorial this weekend. They did not disappoint the club. Hudson Ma won the Under 13 Mixed Foil and placed 3rd in both the Under 13 and Under 15 Mixed Sabre. Fellow teammate, Brandon Dintheer, placed 3rd in the Cadet Men's Foil and 2nd in the Men's Open Foil. Congratulations to all of our fencers!

The AAA Fencing Club sent 5 of the 6 fencers to the Alberta Winter Games February 14 - 16, 2019. They were definitely the youngest team there. Everyone had fun and learned a lot!
Seasons Greetings to all old and new fencers! The AAA Fencing Club will recommence Winter Classes as follows: Competitive Class: Tuesday, January 7th 4 to 5:30 pm.... Youth Recreational Classes: Wednesday, January 15th at 4 to 5:30 pm or 6 to 7:30 pm. Classes may be combined after the first class if not enough fencers register for either class. Adult Beginner Class: Wednesday, January 15th 7:30 to 9 pm
The AAA Fencing Club held the Zone 1 Playoffs today at the Club. Fun was had by all. The AAA Fencing Club attended their first competition of the year in Edmonton at the Jujie Luan Competition. A few athletes managed to bring home some medals, but everyone of our fencers learned a lot this weekend. Congratulations to all medalists!
Well, the Vancouver Canada Cup is but a memory. The AAA Fencing Club sent 3 fencers: Brandon Dintheer, James and Coreen Sheardown. Results were mixed, but learning happened!

AAA Fencing Club Summer Camp is now over. There are lots of memories and a little bit of pain. Fun was had by all! Thanks to Chris Sheardown for coaching another great camp.
