IT’S TRUE! MASSIVE NEWS! Media City Film Festival has WON the 2019 Knight Foundation Challenge! MCFF will share over $1.3 million in funding with 35 incredible award recipients from DETROIT. Knight Arts will enable a major expansion of Media City's programming in Detroit, matching events in Windsor to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2020. This means additional SUPPORT FOR ARTISTS adding to the roster of the thousands we’ve already showcased from 50+ nations worldwi...de! This is a big win for all of us! We’re incredibly honoured and excited, but it’s only the beginning. MCFF still needs to fundraise an addition 20K by the end of 2019. There’s a lot of work ahead.
