Beautiful day for a ride.

Well another proud day. Another one of my riders passed their road test today!!!! I forgot to take a picture of the bell before I gave it to them though as I was in a rush to get home from grabbing my part, put it on, then celebratory dinner and a drink!!

Bike is fixed after a 2 hr drive for a part and we are back in business!!!!!

Unfortunately the bike died tonight and needs repair. Sessions will be postponed until the bike is repaired. Sorry folks

One of my riders passed their road test today!!! So proud!

After some riding around town I noticed that shifting wasn't fluid, so I took her bike for a ride around the block with her on the hands-free and got a feel for how the bike should shift so I could instruct her properly on her bikes needs. I then came back and told her what I found and instructed her on the bikes shifting needs. After a few quick laps around the parking lot a joyous, "THAT'S SO MUCH BETTER" uttered from under her helmet lol. This is what my goal in doing this is all about. To help people learn their bike and be able to ride it confidently. Tonight was a major improvement and I'm proud of the strides this rider has made since I've taken her under my wing.

Taking a break after a few rounds on cemetery hill. Tonight we are focusing on corners. I find where a rider struggles and we do it over and over until they get it.

I'm currently tossing the idea around of accepting donations and the proceeds going towards the purchase of Gremlin Bells that get awarded to those who pass their road tests. Given the tradition of them needing to be gifted, each rider that I coach who passes a road test would then be gifted a gremlin bell by myself using the donations acquired from coaching those to ride.
