Close to 500 Alberta families are experiencing the excruciating heart ache and pain of losing a loved one to COVID-19. Now more than ever we must work together to ensure the health and safety of all Albertans. Please follow the recommended guidelines to help slow the spread. If you are thinking of a friend or loved one who may be feeling isolated, reach out and pick up the phone. It will take an effort from all of us to bend the curve. We are in this together.

Fire Fighters from across the country are virtually meeting today at our Canadian Legislative Conference to discuss important public and Fire Fighter safety issues. Big thank you to the pundit panel for providing some very insightful input on the current political climate of our nation.
Lest We Forget...
Though significantly reduced the Medicine Hat Firefighters are honoured to take part in this year's Remembrance Day Service. Currently we have five Veterans working for our Department, and we have had many more over the years. Sadly in our history, two Medicine Hat Firefighters have lost their lives in combat overseas. Thank you Medicine Hat for allowing us to be a part of this special day. Lest We Forget.
Happy Anniversary! Hard to imagine our great community without our Public Library. Thank you for all that you do.
A social media post by the firefighters association spread across the country and then, the world. Soon, visual evidence of female firefighters was pouring in. We’ve had over 100 photos from coast to coast in Canada, said Matt Osborne, vice-president of the Calgary Firefighters Association.
As this pandemic continues to grow we pause to remember those we have lost. Rest In Peace Brothers
Please help us help you.
Due to Covid restrictions Medicine Hat Fire Fighters weren’t able to volunteer for the CHAT 94.5 FM Food Drive, but it didn’t stop us from making a donation! We were pleased to be able to donate 155lbs of food to the Medicine Hat and District Food Bank (1992) Association
