Registration for Winter 2021 programs is OPEN. The exact start date is unknown at this time but we have secured ice to ensure all programs have ice until the end of March.

Winter 2021 Program Update #2 - 07JAN2021

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Winter 2021 Program Update: Happy New Year!! The staff, coaches and board members of the Medicine Hat Skating Club are excited to start a new year and put 2020... behind us. Each one of us has been challenged in some way by the COVID-19 pandemic but has proved that each one of us is resilient and adaptable. As we quietly moved into 2021 we are all looking forward to getting back on the ice, stretching our legs and seeing our friends at the rink again. Our entire team is impatiently waiting to get back on the ice ;) At this time, Return to Play approval has not been granted by the Alberta Government but we are ready to hit the ice as soon as approvals have been granted. At this time ice permits have been cancelled until January 10th, 2021 by the City of Medicine Hat. MHSC is expecting an announcement from the Alberta Government and Dr. Deena Hinshaw this week with updates to the Public Health Measures and guidelines and approval for us to get back on the ice. Our winter 2021 programs are scheduled to return to the ice on Monday, January 11th, 2021 until the end of March, if approved. I will post an update on Facebook and send out an email to registered Skaters and their families as soon as additional information is available. Government updates can be found at the following link.
