What would it mean for your research if you could see the whole organism's vasculature in one scan? Contact us to give our microCT contrast agent a test run for your in vivo vascular biology studies! ref. https://www.medilumine.com/product/mvivo-au/ Full body microCT scan of Mvivo Au contrast agent is from a collaboration with #Bioemtech, MediLumine, and the Group of Translational Neurology Research (GTNR), Medical School, University of Athens.... #research #medicalimaging #medical #lifesciences https://www.linkedin.com//small-animal-imaging_bioemtech-r

3D rendering of micro-CT images acquired on Skyscan 1276 following scan of mouse brain perfused with MediLumine' s Vascupaint lead-free silicone injection compound. The 3D reconstruction of micro-CT images clearly shows Vascupaint's ability to fill microvascular networks for micro-CT imaging. Perfusion was performed in the laboratory of Dr. Sean Marrelli in the department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School (UTHealth). https://youtu.be/SIBlRbJILZw #microCT #xraytech #science #medicine #research #LifeSciences

One interesting new research application of our Bradykinin B1R antagonist is it's potential to counteract bradykinin storms causing severe symptoms in patients infected with Sars-CoV-2. R-954 (AcOrn[Oic(2),(Me)Phe(5),dNal(7),Ile(8)]desArg(9)-bradykinin) is an antagonist peptide of the bradykinin B1 receptor. MediLumine has a commercial license for sale of this peptide developed in Dr. Pierre Sirois' lab at the University of Sherbrooke, Quebec Canada. It is currently used fo...r for research into pain syndromes, cancer, pain associated with diabetes mellitus, inflammation, different types of vasculopathies, angiogenesis, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, alzheimer disease, arthritis and various other disease states. Our Bradykinin B1R antagonist is available now for research on Sars-CoV-2. https://www.medilumine.com//bradykinin-b1-receptor-antago/ We have been reviewing with great interest the work of Frank van de Veerdonk and Dan Jacobson and colleagues on therapies which could counteract Bradykinin Storms in relation to Covid19. Binitio Biomedical’s Exia 160 And Exia 160XL Now Available Through MediLumine One challenge for development of non toxic micro-CT contrast agents is to load a high concentration of an X-ray attenuating element in a nanoparticulate formulation with particle size distribution small enough to avoid accumulation in lungs but large enough to avoid kidney filtration. Binitio Biomedical's Exia 160 and Exia 160XL meet these requirements with sufficient stealth properties for vascular imaging. In addition, they are made of components which are metabolized by catabolic pathways in the body thus enabling metabolic imaging of the myocardium and brown adipose tissue. https://www.medilumine.com/binitio-biomedicals-exia-160-an/
Check out this four part video series on injection viscous polyurethane based ex vivo contrast agent using syringe with compressed air and pump. Thank-you Ruslan Hlushchuk!
