If we understand our relationship with other living beings correctly we will not feel lonely at all. Who doesn’t want that? Join us this week to develop this understanding. https://meditateinvancouver.org//tuesday-evening-%C2%B7-o/... The pandemic has had a major effect on our lives. Many of us are facing challenges that can be stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong emotions. Social distancing, for example, is necessary to reduce the spread of COVID-19, but it can make us feel isolated and lonely and can increase our stress and anxiety. There is a way to thrive in these uncertain times. Join us for our May series to learn how. #kadampa #meditation #meditate #dharma #Vancouver #motivationmonday

Last chance to register for our Karma course airing tonight at 7pm! Many people misunderstand the concept of Karma. They think it is only about guilt and fault, and Karma is catching up to them in a negative way. They don't know that Karma can also be positive, and affect their future happiness as well. Thank you, Josh for sharing your experience with us Our capacity for transformation is extraordinary. We all know the word karma, but a deeper understanding of it will give us the power to transform our lives. By deeply understanding that our happiness comes from our positive thoughts and actions, and our unhappiness from our hurtful thoughts and actions, we are given the tools to redirect our lives.... Join us for this special online weekend course starting Friday May 7th @ 7 p.m. For more information and to register: https://meditateinvancouver.org//karma-the-power-to-trans/ #karma #dharma #buddhism #kadampa #modernbuddhism #vancouver #eastvan #communitythursday
In the May Thursday series we examine some of the skills and views that through meditation can guide us to rise above it all for everyone’s sake. All classes available on demand for 6 days. https://meditateinvancouver.org//east-van-class-2021-01-07/ Most of us can be ‘good hearted’ when circumstances aren’t too challenging, but this can change quickly if faced with difficult people and circumstances. ... It is a critical time in human history where the world desperately needs everyone who is able to set a positive example, for our own sake but most especially for all other living beings. #kadampa #buddhism #vancouver #meditation #meditate #dharma #WisdomWednesday #modernbuddhism

First full day of our celebration! Thank you Valerie for sharing your gems with us! "I am deeply moved and inspired by Geshe-la's teachings and special blessings of Buddha Avalokiteshvara that we are receiving from Gen-la Khyenrab, Gen Sanden, and Kelsang Khacho (and tomorrow, Gen Rigden), brought to us with extraordinary heart and wisdom. Gen Sanden's words during the introduction were beautifully sincere, calling upon us, reminding us, to "gather our forces" and "marsha...l the five forces to help us accomplish our wishes" to increase and develop our compassion, our Bodhichitta, and put these forces behind our Dharma practice. Like Gen-la Khyenrab emphasized today, so clearly and directly, that without compassion for all living beings, our Dharma practice is limited; it needs the power of compassion, the final and most powerful force of Buddha Avalokiteshvara, to take us to the final goal - that of enlightenment - for the benefit of all living beings without exception. How sublime! This is truly a celebration of how fortunate we are. I feel very blessed - and we are very blessed - with love, Valerie

It's not too late and you will have access to watch every session until November 29th! https://wcdharmacelebration.org/
