Gloria is a fourth-year dental student at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. She double-majored in biology and public health for undergrad at Brandeis University and received her Master of Science in Medical Sciences at Boston Univerisity. She then worked as an assistant and front desk receptionist at a dental office for a year while she applied to dental schools. After graduation, she will be doing her one-year general residency at New York-Presbyterian/ Columbia University AEGD program. Having been pre-med until age 25, she understands the difficulty in changing career paths within the healthcare field and hopes to encourage others to fulfill their dreams. In her spare time, she connects with others on Instagram @glowin_teeth and Youtube (Glo Park) and hangs out with her friends. There, I study the effects of various anti-aging interventions on the lipidome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, also known as Baker’s yeast. On my spare time, you can either find me at dance practice (traditional Greek dancing has been a huge pa...rt of my life) or on the soccer field!
