Patient's primary concern: frown lines, specifically AT REST (see left upper photo). I am always very careful to discuss the fact that botulinum toxin targets the muscle MOVEMENT and the lines caused by the muscles contracting. This means that "static lines", or lines seen when the muscle is resting, won't necessarily disappear after one treatment. Usually multiple and consistent treatments every 3 months is needed to notice improvement in the frown lines that have become etc...hed in the skin.
