Hello all! With the rise in numbers I would like to reiterate the clinic policies re: COVID 19. We require anyone who was in a possible exposure site to reschedule their appointment until all public health orders have been followed. We request that if you have been to any county with additional restrictions that you strongly consider rescheduling your appointment. The guidelines for both Massage Therapy and Acupuncture have been approved by the government which means I can start booking appointments. YEAH! I am starting to call people in the order in which they have gotten in touch. I ask everyone to give me until Thursday before you call me directly as this is taking time. I must pre-screen everyone and inform you of clinic policies before treatments can be booked so I must speak with you over the phone. Rachael and I are working op...posite days/times to keep the number of people in the clinic to a minimum. We are also booking 30 minutes between clients in order to sanitize properly. Big news today! We are going to be Phase 1. So we may be able to open the clinic as early as June 8th. The guidelines from our Associations still need to be approved but they have been submitted to the government so fingers crossed we will hear back soon. Once we have final approval from Public Health we will start booking appointments. Hoping to be calling everyone soon. :)

Hello again! So a little bit of an update. I attended the meeting with Dr. Strang last Friday as a Board Member of my acupuncture association. The meeting was for the unregulated health profession associations in Nova Scotia. We do NOT have a back to work date yet. We may be included in Phase 1 or Phase 2. There is no definitive date for Phase 1 to start although early June has been mentioned by the Premier in the press conferences. There will be 28 days between phases. So t...he earliest the clinic could be open is early June or it may not be until July. This is also dependent on case numbers not going up so that the government will begin Phase 1. The Associations are currently developing guidelines for practice that will need to be approved by Public Health. I hope to have more information for you all in the next 2 weeks and will post anything I find out here. Until then I have a list started with those of you who have been in touch to call once I can start booking appointments. Hello all! Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. I have had some inquires about a back to work date. We are still mandated to keep the clinic closed and will be as long as the State of Emergency is in place. Once that is lifted we will hopefully get more information on an actual date that we can open the clinic. Once I know more I will post here and start to contact people.
