I’ve opened up my schedule to accommodate more online clients! The great thing about the program I’ve created is that you complete the work on your own schedule, and you still get the benefit of 1:1 consultation. Appointments with me are every 2 weeks to keep you on track and moving forward. I just got off a call today with a client who has a goal of returning to running...which means my project for this week is uploading videos and information on returning to running postpa...rtum. My favourite thing is when my clients let me know what they need, and then I create it. I'm creating a home workout for all of my class clients, that uses props at home to mimic what we would do on the Reformer. Classes at the studio were all geared up to start again last week. I know many of you were eager to get back, however we’ll have to wait a bit longer Purchasing a Reformer for home would be ideal, but out of reach for most. As well, how do you use it?? Rehab exercises can be boring. This makes it really hard to stick to them. What if they weren’t so boring? What if you kind of, sort of looked forward to them? Pilates makes it way more fun. I’m under a lot of stress. I’m also working out a lot to try to improve my core but it isn’t getting any better. What do I do? My answer? Do less. Stress can cause excess tension and compensation patterns in the body. Intense workouts layered on top of this pattern can push us further into compensation. What does that mean? Basically your body is in fight or flight mode. See if you can find ways to bring your body into less tension and more relaxation first. Not sure how t...o do that? DM me.
