The countdown to Halloween is on, so I wanted to take the opportunity to showcase the awesome local businesses I chose for the Halloween Giveaway. Today’s post is for Quitters Coffee. Since opening in 2014, Quitters has been a constant in both my professional and personal life. It’s one of my favourite places to meet new clients and chat about the home buying process over a cup of coffee. It’s where we break for lunch on a busy CAF house hunting trip to regroup after a mornin...g of showings. (Several winning offers to purchase have even been signed here over the years!) On a personal level, it’s a favourite spot for my hubby and I to grab a coffee. It’s where I catch up with a girlfriend over a glass of wine on their (dog friendly!) patio. It’s a stop just off the Trans Canada Trail on a family bike ride. And last but not least, it’s the place to go in Stittsville for the amazing Carp Custom Creamery ice cream at Redd’s. Quitters has a presence in the community that extends far past their brick and mortar shop. They are continually engaged with supporting other local small businesses and the community as a whole, as we’ve seen over the years at events like the Stittsville Pumpkin Parade, the Spring Dog Park Clean Up, and fundraisers for Chrysalis House.
