SIGHT-LINES // Consider the visual trajectory through your space, even in the most seemingly mundane spots. This wall is the first thing you see as you enter this farmhouse from the mudroom, the most commonly used entrance. It’s also what you see from the kitchen/dining space when the door is left ajar. A small wall in a narrow pass-through that is also the pantry and laundry. But because of the sight-lines of the architecture it’s a really important wall and not one to be ov...erlooked. We created this vignette using our clients’ antique furniture and collected objects. It creates such a warm and welcoming moment in the more modern renovated space and pays homage to the heritage of the building. It’s one of my favourite images from this project . .
