As much as this dates back to 2012, it brings an interesting point up. In North America, we need to prove that an ingredient is NOT safe for our personal care products before a company has to remove it from their ingredients list. As such, there are only a handful of ingredients banned The European standards however, require that companies prove an ingredient is safe before they can include it in their products. As a result, there are more than 1,200 ingredients banned In ca...se you weren't sure where I was going with this, Arbonne follows the European standard as all our products are Swiss-formulated. I was at Loblaws today, picking up a few groceries, and the woman behind me had loaded up on a brand of sunscreen that made me cringe, but I bit my tongue, and didn't say anything.
