Hope everyone had a great weekend and are looking forward to the promised warmer temps later this week! I just wanted to let you know that I am booking a little over a week in advance with limited availability for the last two weeks in April so send me a message if you are needing to get your pup in. With this announcement I also need to say that I will be hitting the pause button on any new dogs. I am not good at saying no or turning people away as I really appreciate all t...he referrals however with still being only part time and kids off during the summer I feel that this is best. I enjoy being able to get my regulars in with out to much of a wait time and taking on new clients will make that hard. I think Sylvan has some of the best groomers around and will always give names if you are unsure of how to contact them. I have a girl friend just 20 min outside of Sylvan as well who is incredible and is open to new clients! I will post her Facebook page in the comments and know that your dogs will be treated amazingly if you take them to Erica! See more

Not going to lie, I love my job!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my clients, friends, and other Sylvan groomers who have helped put my name out and gotten me so many amazing dogs and cats to groom. With the uncertainty of how long Kids will return to school for as well as to ensure my existing clients don’t have to wait too long to get an appointment I unfortunately will not be taking on new clients for the rest of summer and into fall. I do however have an amazing friend named Erica who has opened her grooming salon just 22 minutes from Sylvan and treats the animals like her own and I highly recommend her! Again thank you so much and I hope the world rights itself soon so that I can continue to build my amazing client list

Cash is a special friends grand puppy and not only does he feel like cashmere but he’s got to be one of the sweetest puppy’s around!

Schnauzers are one of my favourite small breeds to clip and Rambo did not disappoint!

Mowgli came for a groom today and what a sweet puppy he was! 6 months old and stood like a champ for not only his groom but clean feet to boot!

Hope everyone has a very happy Easter and gets some FaceTime in with their loved ones who we may be distanced from during these crazy times! Had these two gems over for a groom today along with their feline sister!

Loved seeing the handsome boy Gunnar the other day, this boy is pure happiness and gives great kisses! Did you know that I don’t charge any extra for deshed treatments. Any pet who is losing hair gets bathed in shed control shampoo/conditioner, blow dried, then brushed till I don’t get any more hair out for a typical bath and brush price (don’t forget ears cleaned and nails trimmed included as well!)

Are you spending more time with your pup lately due to social distancing and are realizing they are to smelly to cuddle? This was the case with my pup and so had a spa day with him today! Although I am sad to say I will not be taking on any new clients during the COVID 19 outbreak I will continue to groom my regulars and have lots of availability. I am taking the precautionary cleaning measures and only see one clients dog at a time (and usually for the day) and so will have limited exposure for us both. Leashes will be wiped at drop off and pick up. Please if you have been out of the country or are feeling unwell wait to book your dog in, and as always you can cancel your appointment right up to it. Maverick was in for his first full haircut today and it was so hard not to just kiss and snuggle him the whole time! Probably one of the best behaved puppies I have groomed in a long time! His mom is doing an incredible job raising him!

Marley came for a groom today, growing up with Westies has given me a soft spot for terrier’s and she did not disappoint!

Sometimes on slow days I even have time to groom my own dog! Just kidding there is no such thing as slow days it seems lately, we had family pictures and if I wanted Loki there he was in need of some tlc

I’ve gotten to groom a lot of big dogs lately which made this gal seem just that much smaller, although I doubt she weighed more then 2 pounds. Little cutie!

This handsome guy is Rolly and he came in to get a bunch of undercoat removed and a trim for summer. It was hard to get pictures of him as he wanted to be right close to me and lick all my makeup off (why I put any on while grooming is beyond me ). What a big lover boy!
