Glaze load on... no joke, I need a bigger kiln... so many pieces and not enough room. This is the first glaze test of the new coffee clay. Thanks @ojc.foreverart for helping design the glaze layering; I was having trouble wanting to cover the coffee clay. It’s so smooth and rich, but she helped me settle on a cream, pumpkin, and black layering. And the pot is marbled black and white. I noticed some bubbles along the rim of the mugs, which can sometimes mean the glaze is too thick and could pull away from the clay as it melts. Sometimes I scrape it down and re-dip if I have to, but not this time, because if it works out we get beautiful marbling and dripping #pottery #happysunday #mugs #pots #glaze #ceramics #anticipation #coffeeclay #plainsmanclay
