Dalmatians a fantastic breed for agility. In the past they were trained for herding, ratting and hunting - lots of energy and drive! Did you know when they are born they have no spots at all? And when their spots appear - like fingerprints - no two dogs look alike! #dogoftheday #dalmatian #dalmatiansofinstagram #dogsofinstagram #dalmatiannation #dogtrainer

The Saluki! One of the oldest known breeds. Although they are devoted to their owners, they are also independent souls who can be aloof and cat-like. Did I mention they can also jump 5-foot fences?! You can have so much fun with these beauties: participating in lure coursing, agility, exhibition jumping, and flyball. #dogoftheday

What a cutie! Did you know...Despite their tough, wolf-like appearances, Siberian huskies are incredibly friendly sometimes to a fault! Anyone looking for a husky guard dog will be sorely disappointed because huskies are simply too friendly and too trusting of strangers. The upside to this charming character trait? You guys will always be BFF! Just remember to train them to stay calm, with four feet on the floor when greeting people. Otherwise you've got a bouncy ball for a dog leapfrogging around you, wanting to say hi! #husky #huskylife #siberianhusky #cutie #bff #trainertip #factoftheday #greetingetiquette #dogtrainer

Please cut your dogs nails! Leaving the nails long on your dog can cause chipping, tearing, splitting and breaking, which can be very painful and may require veterinary treatment. As well as being prone to damage, when adog stands or walks it puts pressure on the wrong parts of the foot, causing pain and discomfort.
