Hi everyone, as the Covid 19 situation continues to unfold I have changed how paperwork and information is coming into the office. First and foremost I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. I am still working and as a small self employed business owner I really appreciate your continued support. At this time my husband is considered high risk so I am limiting the amount of traffic in and out as much as possible. I’m encouraging those who can, to email me their docu...mentation [email protected] or load digital copies to dropbox or google drive to share with me or alternatively, drop off the information to me for processing but no more in person sit down appointments. Signing documents is online now using either my signing app or I can email you the forms to print off, sign and scan/email back. Paperwork pickup - unless an emergency - will happen in a few months when the situation has lessened. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you stay healthy and safe!

Quick update from CRA! They have extended the filing deadline for personal tax returns until June 1 and payments can be deferred until August 31st with no interest or penalties, same goes for income tax amounts owed by businesses. If you receive GST or Canada Child Benefits it is still recommended to file your taxes by the end of April so your entitlements are properly determined. Hi everyone, I've been asked by some recent clients what I'm doing in office in response to the coronavirus and it's a great question! I'm not really doing too much differently since it's usually flu/cold season during tax season. I have always wiped down any surfaces clients and myself come in contact frequently with disinfectant BUT since this is a bad one I'm doing this in between every visit. I've also always accepted tax info sent to me via email so I'm also encourging ...clients to do so this year if preferred, technology makes it easy! As long as your paperwork is clear enough for me to read we are good to go. Alternatively clients can just drop the paperwork with me but not hang out while I complete the returns.
