Merry Christmas everyone!! I know 2020 has been a crazy year but I’m so grateful for a happy & healthy family. I’m also so grateful for all of you! You don’t know how much you’ve helped me & my business grow this past year.... I wish you all love and magic this Christmas and just remember it’s only temporary I hope we are all back to hugging soon. Ps. I ruined the Christmas cookies (don’t know why I tried) hahaha Thankfully we have pillbury for Santa! So much love, Melanie

Happy New Year my friends! I know I’m a little late to the party but I took a much needed break after busy season and Christmas. It was so much needed to recharge and start 2021 off the right way. I hope everyone had a lovely holiday and is back ready to take on whatever 2021 has in store for us!... 2021 means a slower year for Melanie Phyllis Photo. I have so many things happening behind the scenes with my family (like to moving to Norwood on the 29th) that I will be taking minimal bookings this year. As of right now I will be closed until April. I will be happy to refer you to my favourite photographers in Durham Region if you reach out to me while I’m away. I’ll still be around and posting My new website will be launched this winter with all of my availability for 2021 and if you know you want a session with me I suggest you book early Because once I’m booked this year, I’m booked! Pop the bubbly! Christmas is almost here!! So many lovely micro weddings for 2020!... I’m not going to lie, I love them I’m finishing up my last wedding gallery and this image just shows all the excitement I feel plus some!! Let the countdown continue! I’m definitely just as excited as my kids!

Happy Friday!! Matching jammies are the best!! Anyone else obsessed with buying all matching jammies for every holiday? ... I’m definitely guilty of over buying holiday jammies hahhaa! I have another busy weekend ahead, I’ll be slowly sending out galleries in the evening this weekend and early next week! Can’t wait for Tree Farm Minis tomorrow !

Hahaha ... I just love these 2 Mamas sometimes it’s so nice just to grab your littlest babe and just have images of just the 2 of you. Because they just grow so quickly. I’m so happy I got to capture these moments for you @birdieandbee.ca I will of course be oversharing in my stories!

So I wanted so post these beautiful ladies hours earlier but I have 5 kids and a teething baby. Hahaha. So you know..... Haha I had the best time capturing this gorgeous backyard wedding with @justinerinesphotography yesterday and it was perfect!... I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I’m LOVING these small weddings. So lovely!

These 2 got married this past Saturday! It was beautiful and although weddings look a little different these days, the love is still the same, the company is just as good and it’s always just as beautiful! I’m honestly loving all of these small weddings and I hope they stick around even when this is all over!... !

! I honestly can’t believe we are here already! I blinked and summer came and left faster than any year before.... I got to hang out with this little cutie and her family last week and just had to share this one today because I’m just loving the golden tones!
