In response to several inquiries about a fair in 2021......given the current guidelines and Covid situation all plans are currently on hold. We will keep everyone updated as to any changes as they become available. Thank you everyone for your support and please stay safe.

The Melfort Ag Society will once again be providing winter storage for the 2020/21 winter season. Prices remain at $300 for vehicles/boats/rv's up to 20 feet long and an additional $6 per foot after 20 ft. Items may be dropped off beginning September 1 and must be picked up by May 15, 2021. As our office is not operating regular hours please call Kim at 921-8753 to arrange drop off.

On August 1-2 Food Truck Wars will be holding an event at the Melfort Fair Grounds. For more information go to foodtruckwars.ca or call 306 515-4333. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Please be advised that the annual Melfort Fair and Exhibition has been cancelled for 2020. Given the fact that West Coast Amusements has now cancelled and provincial health guidelines will likely not allow large gatherings by the time of the fair, the Melfort Agricultural Society has made the decision to cancel the fair for this year as well as the spring flea market. We may try to plan some other separate events later in the summer as the regulations around large gatherings evolve. Thank you for your understanding and support and please stay safe.

We hope at this time everyone is staying safe and keeping busy. As of yet the Ag Society has not cancelled the annual fair however a decision will be made as government health regulations progress in the next several months. HEY are you looking for something to do while you are at home?? I've got a great idea for you. Every year at fair time I hear from parents that they wished they would have put together more school stuff to enter in the school exhibits. Well guess what?? Now is the time to get the kids working on entries.....keeps them busy with a goal to work towards. PLEASE NOTE: at the present time the office is closed but we are still planning to hold the flea market at this time and we are hopeful that the fair will continue as planned but it is too early to make that call. As the Covid 19 situation progresses we will re-evaluate our decisions down the road based on government and health guidelines. The office is presently getting flooded with calls regarding future postponements and we will keep everyone up to date via this page. In response to inquiries regarding future Ag Society events and West Coast Amusements recent announcement of them cancelling events.....at the present time WCA has cancelled their events in response to the governments protocols and guidelines however that situation can change as guidelines change. The Melfort Fair is 4 months away and everyone is hopeful and confident that the situation will be more positive. We will keep everyone up to date with all events involving the Ag Society on fb and on our website. Thank you and please follow all recommended protocols, they are for your own safety!
