Hey Mama. Just thought you should know.. Coffee isn’t a meal.... A leftover chicken strip isn’t a meal. Fuzzy peaches also aren’t ideal. Make time for yourself this week.. for you. It isn’t so that you can primarily care for others. It’s for your mental health, emotional health, physical health. It’s so for you to feel human even when you feel you’re expected to be superhuman. It’s for you to also feel supported and whole. And from that place- you can care and love. I know it’s hard. I know you have baby food on your shirt and haven’t slept well.. I know if it’s not one thing, it’s the other. It’ll pass. The chaos will pass. HIGHLY recommend Melissa!!! I gave birth to my second son in July and couldn’t wait to try Stroller Fit as soon as I was cleared for physical activity. I was ex...cited to get some exercise and be out with my baby. I did not expect to learn SO MUCH from Melissa in regards to what postpartum training should look/feel like. I have Diastasis Recti from my first pregnancy that I actually made worse by working out too soon after baby and by doing all the wrong exercises with a terrible form. I had no idea! I was super nervous to make my DR even worse with second baby and physical activity. My lower back pain was pretty intense so I was super relieved to hear that Melissa could help me heal my DR while still getting in a good workout. I booked my 1:1 with Melissa where she taught me so much about proper form for basically all movements and training that will heal my DR and helped my lower back pain immensely!! I am very thankful I found Melissa!! She is so very knowledgeable and a master of her craft! See more

Actually I can. Remember that time he said you couldn’t? The time he said you weren’t the type.. you weren’t capable. You didn’t have the experience. The time he said no one would go for it. That time he said you weren’t smart enough. Driven. Organized. Passionate.... That time he tired to keep you small. Keep you home. Make you follow his dreams. Make you be who he wanted you to be. Trying to mould you, shape you, stomp you, into something you wouldn’t recognize. The time he decided he made the rules.. the time he decided you have to abide by his standards, but he could do whatever he wanted. The time he made you question yourself, your decisions, your opinion of self. Remember that time he was jealous? That you were doing well? Remember the time he tried to put you back in your place and now there’s a mark. A mark on the wall. On your leg. On your heart. As a reminder of the time you let someone else dictate your own story.. Remember that time you left? The time you said no more. The time you stood up. The time you finally used your voice.
