They say comparison is the thief of joy. How true that statement has felt especially this year. It’s been a year that has affected everyone in such dramatically different ways. For some this has been the most painful, heart wrenching year of their life. For others, it’s been a big wake up call to realizing what really matters in their life. It’s been a year where corruption has been brought to the light, where certain ways of doing things is no longer appropriate. A year whe...re standing for justice and fighting for what is right for certain people groups has been at the forefront. A big thing I’ve learned this year, is that everyone deals with things differently. Everyone has a different view and experience even when we are all affected by some of the same things. It would be very narrow minded of me to think that everyone should react in the same way, when we’re all experiencing different aspects of the same thing. For me, this year has looked like the ending of lots of chapters in my life, and the beginnings of new ones. It’s been painful but so beautiful. Bittersweet. But that’s part of life and it’s part of the beautiful opportunity of living and growing. I hope that I come out of 2020 with more grace for others. I hope that I come out of this year with more grace for myself. There’s no one way of dealing with life and the things that happen. My goal for this last week of the craziest year of our lives, is to be present and enjoy every moment. To tell anxiety to take a seat and to let myself enjoy whatever is to come. Because there’s always a reason, there’s always grace, there’s always hope.

I BOUGHT A CONDO!!!!!!! Which may be a big reason as to why I’ve been so quiet these past few weeks. It’s been such a busy, exciting, stressful time but today everything was made official!!! I’m so beyond thankful God has made a way. I never dreamed I would be able to buy a place on my own and it feels so incredible. Biggest thank you to my parents who have been the biggest part in making all this happen and letting me crash in their basement for a little longer than planne...d!! And finally such a grateful thank you to every single person who has supported me in my business, I seriously would not have been able to buy without the amazing clients I have had the privilege to get to know over the past couple years. It’s amazing to look back and see how critical certain decisions were in making this all possible. It’s so true, God really does work all things together for good. This past season has not come with its challenges. I went into 2020 with some big goals and buying was one of them. So when a worldwide pandemic hit, it caused me to fear that this goal might not work out.
