As a member of the Ginger family, Galangal gives our Thai Red Curry that you love this slightly spicy flavor. Like ginger, but without the heat! Since galangal is subject to global constraints, we face a shortage, and we are not willing to accept any quality. We would love to grow it ourselves but it takes 12 months so our team continues to look for suppliers worldwide so we can put a good Thai meal back on your table asap. That's a good thing! Back to school shopping?! Let me remind you of the time savers Epicure has to get you your meals quick! Breakfast: The Omelet Maker is going to have a healthy breakfast that takes less time than toast popping in the toaster! Throw the eggs in the steamer with some shredded cheese, (add 3 onion dip for a boost of flavor!) Toast in the toaster and in 2 minutes you have toast and an omelet! (You'll wait in the drive through longer for them to prepare a breakfast!)... Lunch: Using the rectangular steamer that fits in most lunch bags, you can make a wonderful chicken lettuce wrap ready in 3-5 minutes! Prep ahead in a bag, ground chicken and sesame ginger dressing. In another bag purple cabbage, shredded with matchstick carrots. Take some head lettuce into leaves to make the wraps. Throw both bags into your steamer to take it to work. When you get to work put the chicken and the dressing into your steamer, microwave for 3 minutes (depending on the microwave) put the cooked product on your lettuce wrap and add the cabbage and carrots to the top for fresh crunch! Lunch. Healthy and quick! Dinner: Using the multipurpose steamer, combine 1 lb. Of fresh chicken breast, boneless and diced with 1 pkg alfredo sauce mix and 3 tbsp french onion dip mix. Cover on high for 4 minutes or until cooked. Add 1 1/2 cups milk (your choice) and 1 cup hot water and 2 cups uncooked small shell pasta. Microwave uncovered for 6 minutes. Remove and stir then microwave for 3 and a half more minutes. Stir in 5 cups baby spinach (I use mushrooms!) Microwave for another 4 minutes or until veggies are cooked and sauce has thickened. Add some grated Gruyere cheese and you have a fabulous french onion chicken alfredo in less than 20 minutes and best of all, one pot! Less dishes so you can sit with your wine and release the stress of the day!!!
