My colleague performed this ceremony last month. COVID-19 has had such an impact on weddings - but you wouldn't know that this couple faced postponements and difficult choices from this picture. Look at how happy they are and the sweet stance of the bride's parents as they looked on!

What a perfect spring day for a wedding! M & Q were surrounded by their parents and their dogs in the ceremony space at Wildflowers Farm. The ceremony was livestreamed so I hope those watching felt included too. If you are looking for a unique venue, be sure to speak with Jane. It's a gorgeous property!

Everytime I use this mug I am reminded of Adrienne and her late wife Lorna. I had the pleasure of performing their ceremony a few years ago and they offered mugs to everyone celebrating with them that day. The table was stacked with so many different ones it was hard to choose! It was a unique gift that I treasure, especially now that Lorna has passed.

In today's video I explain who can perform marriage ceremonies in Ontario and how to tell if the person you've booked has provincial credentials.

Sometimes couples ask if it is too early to book an officiant. It is never too early, especially with so many weddings postponed. I have even booked a ceremony for September 2023.

While meeting on Zoom isn't quite the same as in-person, I am incredibly grateful to every couple that I've met with online to discuss their ceremony. We learned many lessons last year about the importance of alternate plans. In the past we used to make a Plan B for weather but now we have Plan C for changing government regulations. It is an honour for me to assist couples through this process to ensure they still have an incredible wedding day!

On Sunday afternoon I met a couple at the park in Belmont just to sign their marriage documents with friends as their witnesses. A larger wedding celebration will take place in Jamaica at some point. It was a simple and absolutely stress free way to become married!

On October 17th my couple planned for a dinner reception at Michael's on the Thames in London. Since the weather was incredibly cooperative, we chose to cross the street and have the ceremony in the park. Surrounded by only a dozen family and friends, it couldn't have possibly been more quaint and calm.
