Was asked to share. Please spread the word. Hey everyone...many of you are aware of the struggles of SMBE student Hunter Marsden, and his family, as he battles neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. Recently they have suffered yet another setback. ( Visit the Heroes For Hunter facebook page for updates from the family.) In an effort to show them just how much this community supports them, a few of us are organizing a " flash mob" style drive-by /parade for this Sunday, Dec. 20...th at 4:30. It's super easy and Covid safe to participate. Just come to the meeting location ( corner of Carnoustie Drive and Ballybunion Run in Glen Arbor) at 4:30. Stay in your vehicle ( decorated if you feel inspired- think glow sticks, christmas lights, inflatable Santas or homemade signs) and join the line of cars. Once we have a good group of us, we'll head out and " parade" by their home, honking, waiving and spreading goodwill. As you can imagine, this journey has caused financial strain on the family so we will also have a spot set up where you can make a donation if you like. Hello Everyone, with the raise in numbers. I would just like to take a minute to go over the rules of shop. You guys have all been amazing, this is just a friendly reminder. - Please if anyone in your household or anyone you have been around is experiencing ANY symptoms call to cancel your appointment. - Do not come into the shop if you have been out of province in within 14 days ... -No mask, no service - I am still NOT offering beard trims or shampoos at this time as these are face to face services. - Wait in car till I wave you in. To allow time for disinfecting -I meet all clients at the door with hand sanitizer. -You will need to sign a contact tracking sheet with your name and number after entering the shop. This is an amazing documentary of my clients and his family. Jeff has been my client for a long time now and I really look forward to seeing him and his sons come into my shop. He’s pretty much my self appointed adoptive uncle. We have many great conversation, laughs and cries. I respect this family whole heartedly. Just so all clients are aware, there is construction going on on White Hills Run and it will be continuing till mid December with the installation of speed tables. So please plan for a little extra time to get to your appointments. Very sorry for any inconvenience.
