Tomorrow! Can't wait to start my mini sessions that have been fully booked since the day I announced I was doing them! If you'd like to be added to my cancellation list, make sure you leave a comment. If the list is long enough, it's possible I could add another day again :) I have some 'serious' models this year!

I am now booking my Christmas Minis! A 50% deposit is required to confirm your appointment time. If you’re one of my returning clients and need a week or two for that, just let me know In this uncertain time, it will be incredibly important this year to arrive on time to avoid overlapping appointments. I don’t want anyone having to wait in their car and for obvious social distancing reasons, you won’t be able to wait in my home until the last appointment has left. I will also not have any props or Santa hats to share, but I encourage you to bring your own if you’d like. Please don’t bring extra guests. I will contemplate requiring you to wear a mask when you arrive as it’s probably the right thing to do, and I’d like to keep my new baby safe from any other germs around this time of year. I can’t wait to see you all again!

I have an announcement! Actually I have two/three-ish. Today I have a 4 week old! 2020 has been especially tough but it’s been lovely to step back from photos temporarily while dealing with a strenuous pregnancy and a lot of heartache in my family. I would like to continue to focus on my family and catch up on some editing from a few things I’ve been able to do this summer so this means I won’t be doing Fall Family Photos or taking any other regular bookings until next year... with the exception of course, of Christmas Minis! I can’t not do those! They’re my favourite! I ordered my backdrop today ...And then I ordered another one! Two options this year! Stay tuned!

*UPDATE: I have a cap and gown! This adorable milestone means a lot to us Mamas but I keep hearing there’s not much going on out there for our little preschool grads with all the restrictions going on, etc. I insisted on doing my son’s preschool grad photos and all of the other children as well because I know how important it is to have those things to look back on forever and I don’t regret it one bit. It’s important for their self esteem to see their accomplishments hanging... proudly in their homes so I’m determined to help other parents who may not have been able to get their wall hangers as I like to call them. If you have a preschool grad, and were unable to get their photos done, I would be honoured to take your child’s preschool grad photo at no charge. Appointments would just be 10 minutes and the location must be outdoors. After Christmas, I knew I felt like something was off. I felt like I was drowning in edits and I somehow still am. I needed a break. I needed to step back. I was feeling sick and had zero energy and couldn’t for the life of me answer messages and just felt anxious all the time and missing my time to myself. Well it turns out I’ve been growing a little baby who is responsible for my exhaustion and lack of willingness to communicate or post anything at all and I’m finally star...ting to come around at 16 weeks lol. A little bit anyway. I will still be stepping back for a while, especially with what’s going on in the world now, but I’m going to try and post more of some of my favourites of all time from the last few years to add something pretty to our news feeds between the scary news articles. Here’s one of my faves of my first baby who’s about to turn FIVE on Thursday!
