Coming to MPNH March 11th and 12th - "Reclaiming Hope" Presented by Theatre for Living (Headlines Theatre), Reclaiming Hope will engage audiences on how we can change our relationships to the voices of fear that have taken up residence in our culture. It asks us to think - "How can we identify and challenge the fears within us that hold us back from making decisions that are good for our communities and for the environment?"... The presentation starts at 7:30pm, and admission is by donation.

Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House is having a Pub Night fundraiser this coming Monday! For $20 you get a beer (or cider), pizza and an appetizer! On top of the delicious food you can bid on silent auction items, enter a 50/50 draw, play games and win prizes! Come out and support the great work we're doing with a great night out!

Fun Fact: Did you know that a Watermelon is actually a berry, but what we call berries are not? Starting this Thursday and encompassing the whole of March, we'll be running a family-oriented Food Skills course designed to teach you the skills you need to work your way around the kitchen in preparing budget-conscious, healthy meals!
