We've made some adjustments to the schedule to cover more hours in the day. Here is what we now have available this week: Alyssa Thur - 9am, 11am, 1pm Fri - 1:55pm (30min)... Sat - 9:40am Janet Mon - 10:10am, 11:30am, 12:20pm Thur - 10:10am (30min), 12:20pm, 1pm Fri - 8:45am (30min), 10:45am, 2:20pm Book online at www.mendmassagewoodstock.com All time slots noted, unless otherwise stated, are for 60min (but can be used for 45min or 30min). We are booking out on a rolling 4 week schedule if you'd like to look further ahead as well. Have a great weekend!

The afternoon before our movers came, I disassembled my home office... Where I do most administrative work for the clinic. That same day... I find out we can start gradually reopening. Great timing universe! And.... It's been a series of technical difficulties since then BUT we are working through them all and will be ready for our 'soft open' by tomorrow ... Watch for an exciting post (and much better picture) later today when we relaunch our online booking

Good morning everyone! Update time! On May 26th there were some changes made within the government directives for regulated health professionals, removing the caveat of 'urgent care only'. Last night, our college notified us that RMT's may gradually reopen under their guidance.... So what does that mean? In a nutshell... Stay tuned. We are currently combing through everything to make sure we meet all the requirements and fully understand how to move forward safely. Watch our social media and your inbox for updates (to subscribe to updates, visit our online booking page at www.mendmassagewoodstock.com) The online booking portal will remain closed until we sort through everything but just know we are working on it and will only reopen when it's safe to do so.

A plan for the reopening of Ontario has begun and although many businesses will be opening at some capacity this week, Massage Therapists will not be one of them. As we see a cautious move forward, we are preparing the clinic, obtaining supplies and gathering information so that when we do get the go ahead, we are ready. Although we haven't been given exact guidelines yet, it's important to note that treatments in the early stages may look very different than last time we saw... you. Think PPE, waiting outside, etc. Once we know more, we will let you know. We still miss you and love hearing from you! Continue to reach out and hopefully we will see you soon. Janet & Alyssa

This is not 'exactly' how I pictured celebrating one year , but here we are..... I looked back at my schedule from this week last year and it warmed my heart to see it was full of so many familiar names. You guys really are the best! Starting a business felt like a scary thing but I remember the transition felt so easy because you were there, just like you've always been, and continue to be. Thank you, thank you, thank you! These past 365 days have been full of so ...many 'ups', from watching the business grow, to having Alyssa join the team. This little hiatus will be a blip in the radar one day and I'll just remember it as the time we missed our clients like crazy! Since I had the time to track down some before and after pictures, here's a little trip down memory lane. Enjoy! TRUTH. It is a terrible feeling to shut down your business 'until further notice' and incredibly scary to put your livelihood on hold with no real answer as to when things will resume to 'normal'. It's been a struggle and is probably just the beginning. BUT. You've probably never noticed this pledge that hangs next to our reception desk. It's really there more for us when we have difficult questions to ask ourselves. This is the pledge we take upon graduating and it's what I've come back to as a source of guidance through all of this. 'To serve the best interests of my clients and facilitate their health and wellbeing' We go into this career to help people and at this time, this is the best way we see how. Thank you everyone for your support and understanding. We will be here when the dust settles.

Ok, now that hopefully everyone has taken a breath and calmed down a bit, let's talk about what it all means for your next appointment. As healthcare professionals, our standards of practice dictate that we must always have procedures in place to keep our clients safe and healthy when they come in (changing and laundering all linens, disinfecting contact areas, washing hands/arms before and after each treatment, etc) So tbh, that part is business as usual. We do, however, ask that if you have symptoms or believe you could have been infected that you reschedule your appointment. We will continue to do our part to keep you all safe and we ask that you do the same. We're all in this together. - Janet & Alyssa
