Because it has an all-star cast of authors, we are excited to share information about the Secrets Revealed live virtual event on April 23 at 11:00 a.m. or 1 p.m... Eastern. It’s for grades 4-10, and it’s been set up so that every student in a school can access it from home if they are not in the building, as well as teachers who can broadcast it from the smart board in a classroom. As well, the presentation is available as a limited access recording will be personalized to your school. You are able to register at the links with information below, and you are welcome to contact Kayli Taylor ([email protected]) with any questions. Here’s information about the presentation: Secrets Revealed Uncovering secrets is the best part of reading! And if you want to create amazing buzz in the library, how about inviting into your school a cast of Canadian all-star writers with these combined credentials: #1 New York Times Best Seller (Kelley Armstrong), National Jewish Book Award (Kathy Kacer) Governor General’s Literary Award (Teresa Toten), Amy Mathers Teen Book and TD Canadian Children Literature Award (Marthe Jocelyn) Arthur Ellis for Canada’s best juvenile mystery and Gemini Award Canada’s equivalent of The Emmy’s (Vicki Grant). Along with host Eric Walters (over 100 published books with over 100 awards), these authors created the best-selling Secrets series linked novels for grades 6-9 that can be read in any order, about girls who search for the truth behind their families after their orphanage burns down. With titles for all age ranges from these amazing authors, in this one-hour live virtual presentation for grades 4-9, not only will Secrets Revealed send your students racing to the library to uncover secrets, each author will pass along an insider tip about crafting stories, perfect for teachers and students to incorporate into their own writing. (The registration fee for all classrooms and students in a school is $175. Or you can opt to register as a class for $75. All you need to do is choose one of the times below, and the registration fee does cover links for both times to give your teachers as much flexibility as possible. If you are unable to make the live event, we can also arrange for you to view, for a limited time, a recorded version personalized to your school that includes your school logo, and greetings from the authors to your students. You’ll also have this option when you register.)
