September is Suicide Awareness Month, and this year it feels especially important. The pandemic has brought many new stressors into our lives and, while nothing can replace access to quality mental health care, we need to commit as a community to talk to each other about how we're feeling. It will literally save lives. This month we're teaming up with the Centre for Suicide Prevention to promote Buddy Up, a suicide prevention campaign to encourage men to have real conversations in order to support each other. You can learn more at www.buddyup.ca. We'll continue to share details throughout the month.
