Color correcting blue/grey brows. Blue/grey is one of the most difficult colors to correct. Usually, if the PMU turns blue, it means either 2 things; wrong color choice, or pressure of the artist. Sometimes, there can be so much scar tissue from the pressure that there isn’t enough room for correction pigment to enter the skin. You can technically leave with brows that seem to be corrected, however once it peels it goes back to grey. This is when laser is a better option. Done on one of our students she has a scar on one of her brows and she was actually nervous of covering it up. This scar was always a part of her and it just felt weird to cover it up...so we didn’t do too much. At times, the scar tissue can be so compact, that ink may not stay after the peeling stage...or even stay during the procedure! Always consult with your PMU to see if a scar on your eyebrow can be covered. . . Scar tissue can not only come from injuries, but too man...y PMU sessions as well.
