This photo was taken just less that 4 years ago. After my first born, I found an amazing community of people who supported each other. Getting together was a weekly thing (sometimes multiple time a week) we talked about how little sleep we got the prior night, how our babies were teething, the difference between baby lead weening and making your own baby food. You know, normal patient talk. We would breast feed in front of each other, change our babies diapers. Our meetings w...ere causal, you didn’t need to come if it felt like it was too stressful, you could arrive late and leave early. . . Tomorrow there is a group happening! Our vision is to recreate the pregnancy and parenting community. My friend Tamara, birth educator, and myself, doula, will guild you though some conversation with people who are in a similar place in life. . .
