New Group Show - April 16-July 9th - Merle's amazing canvases were selected once again to be part of a Group Show which continues to be a great success at Nest & Nectars wonderful restaurant. There are over 30 artists exhibiting their artwork at the present Exhibit to view or for sale. Opening reception: April 24th 5-7pm. Their food and friendly service are outstanding. For those of you who don't know Nectars and their weekend buffetsit's a must!

We are pleased to announce a new collection of limited edition photographs by Merle available at Vancouver’s Duende Curation, an online gallery launched last we...ekend at the Vancouver Interior Design Show by interior designers, Rachel Harrison, and Jennifer Scott. Merle's newest collection Woodstock on Wheels is reflective of the "Festival Express" - a chartered Canadian National Railway train consisting of 14 cars, in which many of the Woodstock performers, including Janis Joplin and The Grateful Dead, traveled across Canada stopping in Toronto, Winnipeg, and Calgarya continuation of non-stop jam sessions and partying. The Festival Express was dubbed "Woodstock on Wheels and in many ways was better than the formal Woodstock festival, according to the performers. I was traveling my wife, Val, on one of our many trips to Alberta.We stopped in a little ghost town called "Dorothy". the lighting was perfect so I set up my Fujica 6 x 17 Panorama camera hoping to capture the moment and was not disappointed with the results.
