This is a oak rocker and footstool. Design layout taken from A,B. Beechers Empire Rocker(circa 1820) I have one of the originals , five were made. Brown materia...l to match natural finish. Has a custom shaped back made to fit client. This was made for the Trudeau(yes THE Trudeaus) family . Made from the wood their grandfather planted on the original homestead in Quebec. I supervised the dropping and milling of the tree.This is one of 13 pieces i made for them over a year . See more
