How to maintain Social Distancing while celebrating Canada Day!!!!

It looks like Premier Ford has come through and we will start camping effective Friday at 1pm! It has been a long winter and a long wait, but we have persevered! NOTE TO EVERYONE: You must be self sustainable until further notice! That means NO WASHROOMS will be open here! Our powered sites have water, so if you’ve previously reserved a dry site, you will have to fill up on arrival at our dump station, and have your own washroom facilities! Also, all campers will be required to use our dump station after each stay; there will be no honey pot services provided! So get your trailers packed up ASAP and Tammy will contact everyone who has booked for this coming weekend. Hooray for camping!

From the Lions Club: We will be receiving news on the 14th of the June!!!! Let’s say a prayer it’s good news. If you want, write to our Premier and express your desire to see us open before Father’s Day weekend. I have done so! Stay safe all our camping family and show each other love.

Update on opening as of May 26th: We unfortunately don’t have a solid date for opening! We are still aiming for Father’s Day weekend (Bass Season opener), but we await Parks Canada. We are pressing them as we are considered non-profit. Just a reminder, last fall the Lions Club decided the use of camping rugs would be reduced to a maximum size of 5’ x 7’, and they must be breathable! We are working on growing grass back and this is one way we can green up the campground. So please be patient, we all want to get out camping but we also want to have a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
