Well....that's a wrap on the 2020 Tree Season at Merry Farms! We are now CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. What a year! We hope you found your visit to be a welcome change in a bizarre year and felt safe here at the farm. The reservation system was new to us (and you) and thank you for your patience with it. We may keep it on the busy weekends?? We heard lots of feedback that folks enjoyed not having to deal with the stress of a wait to get onto the farm. We take great pleasure in refl...ecting on how many families are sitting and looking at their decorated trees enjoying them as we sit and look at ours and take in its beauty. When does a Christmas Tree Farmer cut down their own tree??? Why at night of course after work and we close up the farm for the day. It has become our own family tradition to head out in the dark and we dont get to see what we cut until the next morning. CHRISTMAS TREE RESERVATION SYSTEM NOW OPEN! Yeehaw! Please visit www.merryfarms.ca and click on "Christmas Tree and Store" tab to make your tree cutting reservation which is only required on these 6 days: Nov 28/29, Dec 5/6 & Dec 12/13. All other days that we are open DO NOT require a reservation. Farmers Mike & Lisa are so happy that you can carry on your family tradition and that we are lucky enough to be a part of it. Christmas Tree Update: We have realized that we are much better farmers than we are with technology so please be patient with us!!! Our tree cutting reservation system is being built now and should be live by early next week. It will only be our 3 busy weekends that a reservation WILL be needed (Nov 28/29, Dec 5/6, Dec 12/13). The other days of the week we are open and the other weekends you will NOT need a reservation. Thanks and look forward to seeing you all again soon.
