Finished this little custom toy chest today! Red Oak veneer with solid Red Oak trim detailing and an Ebony stain and semi-gloss clear coating. Soft close #Blumotion hinges and soft down hardware allows for safe closing of the lid without concern of catching any fingers. Neat little alteration to my learning tower design. This mom didn’t want a learning tower and a high chair taking up room in her kitchen, so we combined them so she could get rid of the high chair. Lately I’ve been doing some work for an amazing organization, Step by Step Early Intervention Society. They specialize in the physiotherapy of young ones with Cerebral Palsy. These rockers/bridges will help in developing balance and motor skills, as well as just being fun to play on. My lead product testers (yes, my 2 kids), gave them a thumbs up! This custom playground was INCREDIBLY satisfying to build! Not only did it get me outside, it went together without a hitch and the 3 and a half year old client was over the moon upon completion. Complete with ladder, slide, climbing wall, rope ladder/swing, lower lounge area and a trap door! This pikler was crazy fun to make, though a bit more challenging! The drill pattern on every single segment allow for COUNTLESS orientations as the hand made ‘hand screws’ can simply be removed and the components rotated. Now that I’ve got some under my belt, I can post my OWN photos! Pikler triangle and slide go for $380 with the colours, and $365 all natural coated. The net climber goes for $210. The rocker and and slide combo goes for $380 with colours and $360 naturally coated. The bigger pikler is really neat because it’s adjustable and sits within the lower base.
