Delta Projects Update May 25, 2017: Construction activity at Delta has resumed with roads being prepared for paving. Plans are to start paving as early as mid J...une on the East side. The far West Side will take place thereafter. The final stretch, being Hackberry Ave West from the entrance to the campground, will take place after construction of the campground is complete. The entire campground is still under construction. This includes all campsites (serviced and non-serviced), roadways and parking lots. A new play structure will be purchased and installed this year as well as a new picnic shelter. The existing washroom will be repaired/renovated with a new main washroom and showers building to be out for design and pricing shortly. The breakwater structure is in design stage with plans for construction this year. The public beach is being cleared of the debris. The Province will have the remaining sections of the beach cleared under a separate tender. Please stay clear of all the construction sites and drive with extreme caution. Your cooperation during this remake phase is appreciated!
