Hi Everyone! If you are sad about the cancellation of all the events this year I have some GREAT NEWS!! There are some fantastic workshops happening THIS WEEKEND with some amazing teachers. There will be a total of 7 workshops to choose from and they will all be great - Guaranteed! I will be opening up the academy to any local students who wish to participate in Studio. This online event will feature seven segments in one weekend. Workshops, lectures & live interaction to experience Capoeira, dance and the culture of Northeastern Brazil. WITH GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT AND A HEAVY HEART we have been forced to announce that the Victoria 2020 event in March will be cancelled due to events beyond our con...trol. The School District and Theater have all cancelled external rentals for the time being meaning we have no venues for the scheduled activities to take place. In addition, all guests who are traveling to Victoria from out of the country are currently facing a 2 week quarantine. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and had hoped up until now to continue with the the event as planned, but given the circumstances this will now be impossible. STEPS WE ARE TAKING: We have switched to Hospital grade cleaning products developed specifically for disinfecting medical and healthcare facilities.
