Another beautiful cottage inspiration for everyone. We have posted this gorgeous log home before, but felt it was worth sharing again now that we are entering into cottage season. A little bit of brightness is so classy when paired with a timeless log building. This Lake of the Woods home was done with a Dark Red hidden fastener roof panel. Another term for this type of panel is "standing seam".

The long weekend has us a little tired this morning but we are back in the office with nothing but good vibes! Please note, we have made the collective decision to keep our showroom closed until we hear an update regarding restrictions. In the meantime, we wanted to share this beautiful cottage transition! Technical Tuesday! Did you know we make THOUSANDS of heavy gauge Z Bar a year? We do!! Thousands and thousands and thousands! What is Z Bar used for? The main reason is to hold in rigid insulation. The Z Bar is secured to the wall, the insulation installed, and then the siding. Most Z Bar are made from a 20 gauge thick Galvanized material but depending on the job, they can be made lighter or heavier.

Now here is something we could have all used over the last couple of weeks - a sauna!! I think a few of us would add this to our goals list for the back yard! As the customer so aptly worded it, the red metal was a "cherry on top" of their design. Material Used: Dark Red 936 (exposed fastener)

It’s been a busy winter filled with great projects. This one in particular with DC Exteriors and GRG is coming along very nicely, with more material coming this week. We wanted to take this moment to remind everyone of Family Day tomorrow. We will be CLOSED, back to our normal Winter Hours on Tuesday. We hope everyone enjoys the day with their families as the weather starts to warm up a little bit!

It is the end of our fiscal year and our first Christmas in our new location. It does not feel quite as jolly as we had hoped but we are doing our best to remain positive as we enter into the Christmas season! The tree has been decorated, the lights have been strung, and the decorations carefully placed... but as our staff is on a rotating schedule, we will be taking turns enjoying the festive decor. We are taking time to reflect on the past year and thinking about everyone who has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Thank you to all of our loyal customers who have supported us through this past year! Stay safe and stay healthy!

We love working with our local installers on new builds. DC and his crew made quick work of these window flashings. This is actually our second Wendy’s that we have a small part of. We worked with Above All Projects to provide the metal cladding and trims on Mcphillips Wendy’s.

Thursday is a great day for Inspiration Posts! It is almost the weekend.... so let's be inspired! This BEAUTIFUL building in Sioux Narrows was done by Solid Construction from Kenora. Cladding of choice was a Textured Black Snap Seam (hidden fastener) panel. Paired with the cedar entrance, this is a gorgeous combination.
